KWORKS and Darüşşafaka Schools have organized “Design Thinking” training and workshops.  The design thinking approach was broadly elaborated at the workshops. The secondary school students had the opportunity design and prototype suggested concepts. Product design process and user interface design examples were examined at the workshops and participants developed prototypes and run usability tests.

At the workshops, students had the opportunity to meet with startups and listen their product development and product design process.

At the training sessions, students started with working on user profile, and creating user characteristics.

Second part of the sessions focus on market research and product comparisons. Students have examined competitors of their suggested product, and examined the designs of competitors by creating comparison charts.

Students were asked to design and prototype their suggested products, at the last sessions. The prototypes were 3D printed, and students made their pitches.
